There is no charge to enter the 2024 HR&D Awards.
You may enter a maximum of three categories, but you must complete a separate submission for each category.
Once you have submitted your entry you will receive an email confirming that we have received your nomination.
Entries can only be accepted from organisations whose base, or a substantial proportion of its business, is within the North East of England. This includes the
NE, SR, DH, DL and TS postcode areas.
Information provided in the entry form will be viewed by the judging panel. Shortlisted finalists will have a short biography about them added to the awards website which will be based on the content of their submitted entry form. Therefore, if your entry contains confidential information that you do want to be shared please email the event manager with the details immediately.
Entries will close at 5pm on Monday 15th April 2024. If entries are submitted after this deadline they may not be included in the judging packs.
After the judging has taken place, all shortlisted finalists will be contacted by email or telephone within 7 days.
The judging panel, whose members also make up the North East Work & Talent Advisory Board (NEWT), is a group of professionals working within a range of sectors with a shared interest in ensuring the North East builds and maintains its profile as a great place to live and work and has the talent pipeline it needs to thrive. Winners will be announced on Thursday 6th June at a special awards ceremony taking place at The Fed, Gateshead.
The dress code is ‘Black Tie' and theme this year will be 'The Roaring 20's'!

Yes, the venue is fully accessible but please tell the event manager your access needs to ensure we meet expectations and so we make all guests experience positive.
There is ample free parking available on-site.
There will be a table plan on display in the drinks reception area when you arrive. Your organisations name and table number will be displayed on the plan. A member of the events team will be on hand to help you find your seat.
